The exhibition »The State Coat of Arms of Dubrovnik Republic« organized by the Dubrovnik Museums, by Frano Čizmić, was opened on 5th February 2010 in the Rector’s Palace in Dubrovnik.

The exhibition provides an integral overview of the historical development of the Republic of Dubrovnik State Coat of Arms. It analyses the origins of the state arms, its symbolic role in the life of the Republic, its importance in the international relations, as well as the changes in its depictions, through time and in different media, especially considering the fact that in time the silver was ever more often replaced by the blue. Beside the state arms, the other state symbols are presented (St. Blasius, the /Libertas/ coat of arms etc.)

The exhibition is followed with a bilingual Croatian and English catalog with 53 colour illustrations/photographs.

The exhibition was open until the end of April 2010.
