One of the largest maritime disasters, the sinking of Titanic, initiated the largest changes in the maritime regulations, but also yielded a large number of curageous people who jumped to help the victims in that cold April night. Honouring RMS Carpathia and her crew, the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Rijeka (PFRI) marked 102 years since the day the curageous crew commanded by Captain Arthur Henry Rostron left the site of sinking and took course towards New York carrying the survivors.
